Stuff We Find in Our Record Sleeves: 1966 WIP Letter

This weeks random record sleeve find is a letter written from WIP Radio to the wife of one of the advertisers.
The letter was included in a copy of Herb Alpert‘s album, “What Now My Love.”

The letter states “…there is a great deal of romance in a well-executed advertising program.”

One would imagine her husband spent some advertising dollars on their programs.

The letter is from the late Joe McCauley who was a broadcaster which thousands of Philadelphians thought of as “the morning mayor” and the man who “started the day right” on the WIP Radio morning show.
